Meet the Founder

James Perkins (JP)

I’m JP, founder and creative director of JP Studios.

I’m 23 years old, and before I was building a clothing brand, I was chasing a football career. While I loved the game, I eventually realized my passion had always been somewhere else. Since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of creating things that people could wear and genuinely feel good about. That dream became JP Studios.

Creativity has always been bigger than fashion for me. It’s about building something meaningful, taking risks, and inspiring others to chase what they believe in.

Outside of the brand, I enjoy cooking, traveling, and staying active in the gym. Those experiences continue to inspire my creativity and shape every collection we release.

Some of my biggest inspirations include Lafrance, Hustlers Paradise, and 1 Soul Clothing. Seeing brands build their own identity motivates me to continue creating pieces that represent originality, confidence, and purpose.
